Watertight and Airtight Integrity Surveys
The purpose of this type of survey is to ensure that hatch covers and hold ladder access covers are watertight and operating satisfactorily. These surveys are usually carried out on behalf of P & I Clubs, Classification Societies, Ship Owners, Ship managers, Shippers, Receivers and Drydocks
Surveys are also undertaken to check the watertight integrity or airtight integrity of other enclosures eg. yachts, seaplane floats, bulkheads, watertight tanks, shipping containers etc. These surveys are carried out on behalf of Yacht owners, container companies, aircraft companies, ship owners and ship managers
A Certificate and a Survey Report with photographs is provided.
Ultrasonic thickness surveys
The purpose of this type of survey is to determine the thickness and the diminution of various hard materials, in particular, mild steel used in ship construction. Other materials include Cast Iron, Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Zinc, Quartz, Glass, Polyethylene, PVC, Grey Cast Iron, Stainless steel. These surveys are carried out on behalf of ship owners, ship managers, ship operators, classification societies and other industries.
A Certificate and a Survey Report with photographs is provided.
